The inception of Lake View Ink was a result of Fazlur’s passion for books and a desire to create a space that goes beyond the ordinary. The idea germinated from the fusion of a bookshop and a coffee shop, where the two complement each other seamlessly. Fazlur wanted to provide readers with a value-added service, focusing predominantly on books but with the added allure of a cosy coffee corner. 

“Physical touch and feel of a book are completely different to a digital read,” Fazlur shared. “I wanted to create an atmosphere where readers could immerse themselves in the ambiance of the store, making it more than just a place to purchase books.”
